Be The Hero of Your Story

Be The Hero of Your Story

August 12, 2018

There are only two things standing between the person you are now and the person you wish you were.

  1. Discipline. Self explanatory.

  2. Mindset. You simply haven’t decided that you are going to become that person.

In this episode I break this down a little more. I also go into some other things you need to be aware of. Like the some of the more savage emotions embedded in our DNA that got us to this point. They still have their place just not as often as they used to.

In this episode I talk with, Ted Phaeton. Ted is an Anchor/Meteorologist at Fox Carolina in Greenville, South Carolina.

In this episode we covered a lot of subjects. Business, nutrition, fitness, morning routines, social media, employment, and much more. One of the main points we touched on was the importance of being happy.

Ted is one of the those I am referring to when I talk about being around people that make me want to do better.

This was a really fun podcast, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

If you'd like to keep up with, Ted follow him on IG at @phaeton4kast or by checking out his podcast, No Rain No Rainbows.

Openness is Happiness

Openness is Happiness

August 12, 2018

Most of us carry an unnecessary weight around on us.

That weight comes from things we think, things we do, or how we feel. It's a weight because although it's important to us, we keep a lot of these thing to our selves. Usually out of fear. The fear of being judged is probably the strongest one. Often these things really aren't that big of a deal to others as we believe they will be. If they are, it's not our problem as long as we aren't hurting anyone else.

The same can be said when the roles are reversed. The way another person decides to live doesn't have to align with the way we choose to. As long as no one is being hurt, they should be allowed to be happy.

The Way I See It. Episode 01.

April 30, 2018

In this episode, I weigh in on some of the current hot button issues in the media.

I thought I would really enjoy doing this episode. However, after I finished recording I couldn't help but feel it was pretty negative. NOT what my show is about. Maybe its just me. Maybe big media only focuses on the negative. Either way, let me know what you think. Keep going with these or trash the idea.

Topics covered in this episode:

  • Yeti "Dropping NRA"
  • Starbucks - 2 Black men arrested
  • FAKE NEWS
  • Privilege
  • Boy in a dress crowned Prom King?
